Lighting question..

Getting ready to buy the lights for my 46 gallon bow front. Have to look but I believe 36 inch long.
What am I looking at for the metal hallides or some other HO or VHO lighting. I dont figure on have any SPS in the tank. (oh yeah, reef tank)
Not sure on what I should be loking at for watts and such. How many bulbs. Not sure on what I should be looking at for k's either.

Well you and I have the same tank. It came with this start up light, but I just went and purchased the Coral Sun light, which turned my tank blue. I love it! It's 25 watts and 36 inches. I'm new too....

id either get a system or a retrofit kit with: 2x 175 watt MH (10,000 k for coral growth), 3x VHo actinic bulbs(to add some blue to the water)
