Lighting Question

Im looking into a new tank, 56 gal and its 24" deep. I am looking at T-5 lights, but want to be able to keep any type coral, clam I want in it.
What is everyones opinion as to how much power I need to be able to do that?
I have noticed that T-5's come in several different 36" configurations, 2 bulbs, 4 bulbs, 6 bulbs, and 8 bulbs.
I do not know which one I should be looking at seriously to buy.
Please help me decide.

as long as the T-5 are individually reflected you should be fine with 4 bulbs, but 6 and 8 are better. 2 would be too weak.
