Lighting question

I have a 30 gallon tank, with a 50/50 18". I am looking into getting a BTA for my perc clown and to add color to the existing setup of LR. Any recommondations on what type of lights I need to purchase so the BTA can thrive? I do not have metal halides, just the basic canopy that came with the tank.

T5 at least, but its hard to find fixtures that small. id go with a 175w halide.

Thank you. I'll look on the great auction and hopefully find the right size someday.
