Lighting Question

What exactly is the difference between power compact fixtures and T5 fixtures? They seen to have just as much wattage output. I know this is probably a goofy question but I will put it out there anyway.
Also what is the most popular sump filter out there? I was looking at the All-Glass Mega Sump # 3 but don't know if this is the best choice available.
Thanks

If the T5 has individual reflectors it will put a lot more light in the tank then a PC fixture, T5's are also more efficient to run but are more expensive to buy if you get a good setup.

T-5's are smaller in diameter then other types of PC's which can be t-7 t-8's and up. T-5's are no different than any of the other types of flourescent bulbs except for their diameter which makes it eaiser to put individual reflectors on them. The next step up is HO t-5's which are significantly more intense than PC lighting mixed with the individual reflectors makes them a good choice for many reef tanks. They are cooler to run than MH and more efficient.
