Lighting question

Hi
I was wondering what type of Lighting would be best to get for a tank size of 96x22x18. Plan on keeping soft and hard corals, clams and anything I would like to put in the reef tank. Also how many watts of lighting is needed? Was thinking of going with T5's because of heat issues. can be 2 or 3 sets. Any advice?

i would def go with metal halides if you can afford it. with that deep of a tank there will be certain things you probably wont be able to keep down low in the tank or on the sand.
