Lighting Question

The new light fixture I have has individual on/off switches for the actinics, daylights, and moon lights.
So... do the actinics and daylights need to be on at alternating times, or should they both be on at the same time?
Do the actinics simulate dusk and dawn?
Or am I just thinking about this way too much? Let me know and I'll put my helmet on and go wait for the short bus

Run the actinincs 30 to 6o minutes before the daylights come on and 30 to 60 after the daylights go off. Leave the actinic on with the daylights. Couple of timers from HD/Lowes would be a good investment

Sweet thanks fr!!! I was thinking I had read that somewhere. So it does simulate dawn to dusk. I was thinking about a digital power strip that has at least 3 timers. That "SmartPet" place has them for like $34. I think I'll check HD etc... and see if they have them cheaper.
