Lighting Question

Hi I am setting up a new 75 gallon tank..I current have 2 T5 HO 65 watt fixtures 24 inches each... I am wondering if T8 40 watt 5 foot fixtures will work better. I can have 4 bulbs per ballast....

if its fowlr, then it really doesnt make a difference. ur current bulbs r powercompact since t5 doesnt come in 65w.
