I was wondering does anyone have an aggressive tank that they have lower wattage (ie 175) metal halides on? I've got a 56 gallon which is DEEP (shoulder deep for me hehe) and a 175W MH seems to be a wonderful light for this tank, and I've got a few soft corals (they'd be gone if I went to a mildly aggressive tank) doing fine. Just wonder is this just total overkill? I own it already and it was just about free to me, so it doesnt seem to make sense to downgrade, but I just wanted to see would I be the only FOWLR with halides
