Lighting Question

I have a question regarding my lighting. I have 4x39w T5Ho. I have a big glass plate on the top on the tank, centered in the middle. I guess it's a brace for the tank. Will that plate prevent the light reaching the corals underneath the glass plate?

I assume you are doing no top other than this glass brace. There will be a little loss of lumen's from the glass, but as long as you keep it clean it won't be much.

The lights will be on leggs. Other than the plate the tank is open. I added the lights to 6x just to be sure.
