Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get lighting recommendations for a 112g (60x18x24) FOWLR.
So far, I was looking at:
60" Aquaticlife T5 (216w) = about $400
or on the high end
60" Marineland marine Series Pro (516w) = about $900
I read a recommendation for at least 3 - 4 watts per gallon, and for the Aquaticlife T5, a recommendation to use two (2) units, but I dont think it will fit on my tank (only 18" wide).
Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions would be most appriciated.
Thank you.

If you are only planning on have fish only you really don't need expensive lights. Save your money and buy a skimmer. I have 135 FOWLR&LS I use a 48" T8 w (2) 7600k sunlight bulbs, shop light from Menard's. The sunlight bulb is not yellow its has a blue tint to it. The fixture was $10 (on sale) and $8 two bulbs. My coralline algae is growing great.
