Lighting Required for Low Maintenance Corals?

Hi,
What wattage is necessary in 55gal for low maintenance corals such as:
open brain
finger leather
chili coral
cabbage leather
pacific rose coral
I read these are low lighting required corals - can someone tell me what the wattage requirement would be. I am not planning to have a chiller, nor am I planning on Medium or Higher maintenance required corals - due to the fact that I don't want to get into the chiller situation and metal halides.
I am interested in replacing my 40W Fluorescent Hood and only want to buy what is sufficient for my tank. My LFS said he has a hood for $259.00 that will suit my needs - but I thought that seemed high for my needs. I am willing to part with the bucks - but you guys have been so knowledgable in the past that I thought I would ask what you guys think the wattage requirement would be.
Thanks!
Evelyn

My reccomendation is to get a Ice cap 660. Wire it up to (4) 4 foot VHO bulbs. That 440 watts. You have a pretty decent selection of corals you can keep with this light settup. Dont try to scrape by with the bare min of lighting requirements. You more than likely will want to upgrade later. Oh you can get the red chille coral now IF you tank is established. Do a search on the net for Nephthyigorgia and you will see why.
