Lighting solution for tanks.

I currently have 2 tanks running right now, a 55g and a 20g, Both are FOWLR for the time being but I want to turn them into reef in the near future, and I'm trying to figure out decent lighting systems for both tanks. I am a poor college student so money is a factor.
For the 20 gallon, I need to up the filtration so I was thinking of getting an Eclipse for it, because I think I heard somewhere you can get the canopy retrofitted for better lighting.
On the 55, I was planning to go with a 4x 65watt Power Compact setup. Any ideas and comments?

You can get a PC retro for an Eclipse. I just took my Eclipse off because I wanted better light. But you can make it work nice on a 20 gal. For your 55gal I would check into VHO. A little more $ but the light in my opinion is much better.
