I am trying to switch over my cabinet hood to an open over the top lighting system. The configuration I have now is an enclosed hood that makes everything difficult to work with and I want easier access to tank. My tank is a 150 gallons and I have a few corals and looking to expand, I am wondering what type you would suggest and type of bulb. I am currently running metal halide but not opposed to changing to compacts.
