I currently have a 3 gal micro reef with 2x13w pc lights. one 6500 and one blue. I am thinking of upgrading and adding one more 13w pc with 10,000. is that an insane amount of light.
what would be better?
what I have and no more or change the 6500 with 10,000 , add the 10,000 , have 2 10,000k and 1 blue.

If you can deal with the heat (find a way :) ) then that would be great, there is no such thing as an insane amount of light. (I realize that there is but you are not close)

what bulb combination would be best. I know most people say 1-1 or 1-2 but wich ratio is better for 3 gal

Because you are still runing a small amount of light in perspective... if you want to recreate the envirnment that most corals you can keep come from, then go with blue light. Most things that survive in small light are deeper creatures so the blue is the most natural (and effcient). But most people don't like that amount of blue.
If you add a 10000K it will basically remain the same color as you have now just brighter.
If you add a 6500K it will look more like the 6500K then the actinic.
If you add the actinic it will look more blue.
Turn off one light, then the other (while turning the first back on) , then look at both on and decide which you like best. Choose from that. All will work
