Lighting Suggestions

Alright, I need some advice lads and gents. Im currently in a little rut, I need advice on a lighting system for my 8" 240 Gallon Reef tank. If I understand correctly it needs to be at least 250 Watt MHs in order to reach the bottom, so I am thinking of 48" dual 250 watt MH system supplemented with PC or T5s. Trouble is Im having problems finding these online.
Does anyone else out there have a larger tank and what do you use to light it?
Also does anyone know of any fixtures that fit my specifications?

I have an 8' 240 gallon and IMHO would be easier and probably more cost effective to DIY.....Some nice reflectors to look at would be the LumenBrights. Ballast wise my first choice would be IceCap. I'd supplement with T5's before PC's.
250w MH's would be plenty on the depth of a 240.
