Lighting time cycles?

i have a nova extreme T5 HO 96watts. what should my lighting cycles be. like how long should the white lights be on for? how long should thye be on and then have the actinic's come on? then how many hrs total should the tank get light? i have read where 8hrs is plenty cause the ocean doesn't see total sun for 10hrs.

my lights are on from 12noon until 8pm. i had them on from 10:30am until 8:30pm but then cyano went out of control. i think 8 hours is good.

fan on 8:00 am
actinic on 8:00 am
10k on 9:00 am
10k off 5:00 pm
moonlights on 5:30 pm
actinic off 6:00 pm
fan off 6:01
moonlight off 8:00
