lighting to choose from

I have a 100 gal tank and I don't know if it were better to put MH or PC lighting in it. I plan on having some moderate to high light corals in my tank.My understanding is that as long as you have enough watts per gal to support demanding coral everything will be ok.Is their a difference between MH or PC if they were supplying the same amount of watts per gallon? I would appreciate the info.THANKs

The watts per gallon is important ...but more important is the penatration of the light. With the MH's you get better penetration of light than you will with PC's. Using MH's will give you that ability to place the high light corals anywhere in the tank.
