I wanted to put a 150w hqi halide with a total of 100 w of actinic PC's and then led lights. Would this be sufficient for most corals? It is a 58 g corner tank that is 21 inches high and 27 inches wide with a bow front.

But since it is only 21 inches high shouldnt it work? thats why im confused because the bow makes it shorter.

How many gallons is your tank? One 150watt metal halide bulb is more than enough for 2 feet of tank lenthwise. It will penetrate a depth of 21" no problem. If you have a 55 gallon tank, you can put high light corals right under the bulb, and lower light corals off to the side.
