how would 175 watt metal halide lighting be over my 36 gallon reef tank as far as me having corals and an anemone?

also, would I need a chiller if I had this?

As far as the light strength goes, I think it should be enough. Keep the bulb 10 inches or so to keep the heat off the tank. Mine are 6 inches on a 55 and it gets a bit hot. Install a few fans in the hood and you should be fine
