if someone can please help me how many watts of
light do i need fore a 55g tank fish only right now
and i really cant get any algae to grow what can i do
please help

If this is a fish only tank you should be ok with the standard flouresant lights.
How long has the tank been up?
what type of fiter?
water parameters?
these will help the peeps here answer you a little better

filter is a fluval 304 tank set up for 2yr i have a 40w in it now
and i just want some algae to grow i thought that algae was
good for the fish
