i've got a 90 gal FOWLR setup
right now ive got 2 48" lights, 40W each
should i just spend the $50 and upgrade to 2 48" lights with 115W each?
or am i ok with the 80W total now?????
also, will it be about $50 bucks for the 2 115W bulbs?
thanks in advance

It will be brighter if thats what you are after. The two bulbs will cost about $50. If you are lloking for very bright white look go with the Aqua sun. If you are looking for a hint of blue tint to the water go with one aqua sun and one super actinic.

you should remember that a 40 watt ballast runs 40watt bulbs and will NOT run a 110watt bulb. you will need to purchace a different ballast that will run a 110watt(vho) bulb. i would go whith mlm's suggestion on the one aqua sun and one super actinic. the actinic brings out beautiful colors in your fish.
