I intend to set up my 150 reef here in florida after moving from NC.I am going to make many changes based on my now 7 years experience.I never had much luck with inverts for my clowns.I tried all different lighting schemes.VHO METAL HALIDE and combinations of same. Now i have the chance to set up 4 inches away from a window that at times gets direct sunlight.SO do i even need to augment my lighting at all. Please give me your input. Thanks Ray and Sher

i always use ro water. My basic Question is /was will i need any lighting at all since i am assuming that the natural effect of sunlight is ideally perfect for a reef tank and the amount is dictated by the time of year.ETC Can't beat nature can i?
