i have a 75 gal. dt, and i have 260 watt pc retro in may canopy. can i put another pc retro in my canopy( like 4-96 watt pc) or do i have to put mh in it to keep more demanding corals? i'm just concerned about the heat generated by mh, and also cost is a issue as always. my canopy sits 12 inches above water level, but if i put mh in they will be alot closer(i guess it was poor planning on my part).

If you really want a large variety of corals (easy to difficult) and you can afford it. IMO-MH's are the way to go in the long run. Also, make sure you have alot of water flow.
