Hi again,
I am starting a FOWLR tank, and want to add some Perc. clowns. I would like to add an anemone for them.
Is there an anemone that would do well if I used a 48", 40w - 20000K lite from Coralife?
As always - thanks for the help...This bb rules
From what I've heard anemone's need sufficient amount of light in order to thrive and excellent water quality. I would look into an upgrade if and wait a few months before adding one just to be safe. They are delicate creatures and you wouldn't want to get one early on and have it die on you. I would love to get one for my tank to see the interaction between it and my percula but have only had my tank for 2 months.
Thanks Striker for the response.
Will clowns do well in a tank with out an anemone. I have some fack coral decor in the tank and will be adding more LR soon. Will this be a good enough home for them?
If it is tank raised it will be perfectly content without an anenome. If it is not tank raised it should be ok but won't be as content as a tank raised IMO.
Raised means, that the fish were bred and born in captivity, not collected from the Ocean. Most fish that are tank raised, IMO, seem to be more hardy, since they are used to many changes in there captive enviroment...
Duh! Guess I read too fast or I'm still half asleep. I have tank raised percula but for a minute there I thought you guys meant the tank had to be raised. I think I was up too late last night peeking in on my tank.
