what do you think about this light setup for a fish and live rock tank? will this support corals and inverts also down the road? it is for a 5 foot long 100 g tank.

From what I've read and was told, it's better to go with MH if you want to house corals. We just got ours not that long ago and it's awesome!!! You'd be amazed if you ever get one, we took one look at our other tank with regular lights and took another look at the new lights on this tank, what a BIG difference!!! Things are coming alive on the rocks like crazy in my tank now. :happyfish

saw it on ----. up ariund 89 if bought outright i think. not ready to drop 700 bucks on lights yet. wahy are MH so exspensive? where to buy?

MH give out higher wattage and brighter lights then any other light kit can do. If your not getting into strong light corals, you won't need one. I have seen others with that same light your mentioning keeping some soft corals without any problem. IF that light kit is for $89, I would go ahead and buy it, it's a very good price!! :happyfish
