Lighting??

My dad was looking to add live rock and coral to his tank, he said that you need special lighting for it, he has a 75 gallon tank, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a lighting setup he could possibly buy? He has the tank all setup, but now wants to get live rock and coral lol... Any help or suggestions would be great :joy: thanks

hi, it all depends on what kind of corals he wants to keep. for softies like mushrooms and zoos, you could go with an all in on pc unit. they fit on top of tank and like mine have about 265 wtt of light. or if you want hatd corals, the you would need to get mh. they now have the all in one units that have mh and pc in them. I have a few sites for lights, m0m24@earthlink.net
