I plan on getting a new lighting system that consists of 3 or 4 75 watt bulbs on a 29 gal. Is this enough to have clams or would I have to go all out on matel halide.

Although MH is the best,on a 29gal what you got in mind sounds good. Just mix them up using 50/50s and daylights.........STEVE
