Lighting?

hello
i have a 24g tank and am wondering about what kind of lighting to get the bulb in it right now is an eclipse about 16in
what other lighting should i get?

Depends on what you want to keep.
I assume the bulb that is in there is the original bulb? You may not have many options unless you go with a new hood or some type of retrofit deal to swap in higher output lights.

ok yeah i think its the origional light
are the 50/50 lights good?
i want corals but dont know how much lighting would cost for them

The lighting that came with the unit is fine---you can go with mushrooms and various other items....50/50 bulbs are nice.....and you'll have a few watts per gallon. PLACEMENT in the tank is also important. Items needing more light would naturally need to be placed a bit higher in the tank....
See the other thread about the live rock.....maybe you and your parent/someone could meet me at a given time in Bernalillo or something....
I think it would save each of us some $$$$

as for lights i might just go with FOWLR and keep my lighting and upgrade later and maybe add corals
the LR sounds great maybe you could give me some advice
