need to know with 75 gal tank beginning reef tank, have 2 strip lts 48in, 1 blue moon, 1 10,0000k is this enough lts for live rock and soon want to put pollops, etc in tank or do i need compact lights :confused: null

For just live rock you'll be ok, but if you decide to actually go reef and have corals you'll definitely need more light.

ultimately you will need more light for a reef, but for mushrooms or polyps you might be ok.
My mushrooms were fine under a SunCoral 40watt bulb til I could afford a better one.
My polyps did ok, but I had to put them high in my tank. (Normally those guys can be low in a normal 'GOOD' light set up)
Personally, if you want to get soemthing in your tank with lower lighting, you might want to get a mushroom rock. I have mushrooms growing in my tank in CAVES. lol

4 VHO or PC bulbs would set you up nicely with a fairly decent range of corals to pic from.
