Lighting

I have a 55 gallon Saltwater tank and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of lighting I should have. I have fish, scallop, and some corals. I would liek to get a clam if possible. Also, what size of lighting system do I need for a 55 gallon tank?

Well without really knowing what type of corals you have and want to have i would say go with a metal halide light setup. The clam needs halide and to have your corals thrive and grow metal halide would be the way to go.
Metal halide will let u keep what u have and let u get ones u will get in the future.
