With all this talk about VHO, MH, and PC is there a proper proportion of watts per gallon for lets say just FOWLR. I assume it is higher for corals, and anemones?

The general rule is about 3 watts per gallon for a good FOWLR.But this is debatable....

?- I just bought a power compact light for my 20gal. it gives me choise of bulbs. 10000 or 50/50 or 7100 blue actinic. what do i need i have lslr & a small blue devil & tomato clown + hermits & snails

go with the 50/50 bulb.

I also would have to say go with the 50/50 you will like the color you get from that.
