Lighting ???

In the next few months Im going to be setting up my 120.Im throughing around lighting Ideas and was wondering what would be a good lighting set up.Its a RR 120 tall so its kind of a deep tank.I keep some soft corals and lps but would like to down the road try some sps and a clam.So what woud be a good light setup?

You say deep. That means M/H for sure. Probably 250w or even 400w. Depending on dimensions. A M/H will cover about a 2' x 2' area. So if you have a 6' tank you should go with three. Combine those with some VHOs, t5s or P/Cs then you should be good. Clams usually need a lot of light and most like to be on sand. So if tank is more then 2' deep look at 400w.

Well deeper than my last tank anyway.I was thinking of 2 250 watt halides and 2 110 watt vho or 2 96 watt pc.The tank is 4 long 2 tall 2 wide.In this tank would this combo of lights work for a clam ??
