i have a 55 fowlr w/sand bed no inverts. what type bulbs do you suggest. hood takes 2 T-8 ,15" X 14watts each. there are so many type bulbs to choose , need help , thanks

well are you keeping it as FO? or are you going to add inverts? If just the fish then I'd say 2 full daylight 18,000 - 20,000k bulbs and 2 actinic - mix the bulbs 1 daylight and 1 actinic on each side to keep ballanced.
However if you are planing for inverts too then you'll need to upgrade to stronger
