lighting

ok i am setting up a 30 gallon fowlr. it will have 2 false percs, a yellowhead jawfish, maby a longnose hawk, 20 scarlets, 2 fighting conches, 5 sandsifting crabs and 10 turbos. i will eventually turn it into a reef with lots of corals. hmmm what would be a good cheep lighting for a 30" striplight?? right now i just have glass light. i would like blue shrooms hammers, ricordias all those in with my fish. also is there anything else i would need??? what size bulb fits into a 30" striplight???

If you're going to turn it into a reef "with lots of corals" you might not want to cheap out on the lighting. Do you know what corals you're thinking of picking up yet?

well you will at least need VHO or pc for those. But i would reccomend MH. Dont be cheap with your lighting. you will lose alot of live stok that way.

I see good deals on power compact fixtures at ---- all the time, which would probably be fine for what you are wanting to keep.
