Lights for Oceanic 75 Gallon Cap

Hi All,
i want to build a ligh system for my cap. I would like to go reef eventually so i am getting everything now. My working dimensions are 48 x 17 x 6. the tank is 21.5 inches deep. Thanxs for all the help.

With the "stock" canopy, your a little limited. VHO or PC is about the only type you can put under there. If you had a taller canopy, you could run MH.
IMO, I would run 4 VHO bulbs. Thes bulbs look awsome and alos provide sufficent light for many species of corals. You will be limited on the SPS and clams you can keep but everything else would do OK..

Thanxs Wamp, I was really hoping to go with MH and VHO 03's. if Six inches is not enough space? how much more would i need? Maybe i can raise the cap some? Thanxs again
