i just seen today a like worm looking thing it looks pink and has a lot of white legs, is real thin and about inch and a half long. i don't have any other descriptions of this thing but if any one knows what it is let me know.

bristleworms are definitely not fine to have. they multiply. and they can grow to over a foot long and when they get that big they eat things other than detrius like small fish when they're sleeping, and ornamental shrimp too
I recomend getting an arrow crab to weed them out and if you already have an arrow crab, good luck

Would a coral banded shrimp be effective at removing worms? Looking for something to eat worms that is less likely to bother clams.

There's such a thing as a bristle worm trap, they dont work very well. You need a better cleaning crew, or the worms may take over the tank.
