i have a 36 bowfront that im about to start turning into a reef. i have an aquaclear 50 but i want something more advanced to handle keeping nitrates down and get more biological filtration. anyways my tank is on a dresser..so i cant put a sump underneath the tank. my only options would be a canister or hang-on. i do have a dresser..the exact same one...as my tank is on now right next to eachother so i could place equipment on that. so what type of equipment is best for biological filtration for a reef tank for my situation? thanks
