Wow, every time i look i find something new.
I think they are limpets, but they are little white guys with cone shaped shells, about 1/4th of an inch across they mostly hang around my penguin filter.
I also found some type of green sponge and would like an id on it.
Ill have to post pics tomorrow since this isn't my computer, srry

The white things that are around your filter look to be pineapple sponges. I have them all over my powerheads, they multiply like crazy and are beneficial.

Interesting! I had never had the pineapple sponges before pretty recently. I thought they were uneaten mysis that was "molding" because it was being sucked into the intake. It was exausting picking them all off!

i looked in my filter and found some stuff. First, i found like 10 other limpets, then i looked closer and found more pineapple sponges, then i found a little blue tube worm (and i thought they all died off for some reason), and last i found 3 aiptasia( I just cant get rid of the things
).

Which brings me two my question how big will the limpets get and why do they only stick around and in my filter?
