Here's is my net less catcher. Items needed: 1 or 2 quart water bottle, find one with a handle and ribs at bottom; utility knife; sand paper; 1 quart plastic bag and rubber band.
Cut off top and bottom of water bottle, sand edges so they are smooth. Place bag opening at ribbed section place rubber band around bag and bottle.
Technique in catching fish: submerge catcher completely holding handle use other hand to move fish to open side of catcher, move catcher to pin fish against glass, tip catcher at bottom to allow fingers into opening move fish back into bag. Lift out plastic bottle, remove bag rubber band will tighten up to close hole of bag. Fish is caught no net needed.

Lol, yes, I know. I'm going to post pics here and there in my threads sometime this week. It just takes a lot of time to go back and post pics and take new pics of everything. I will though add more pics in those threads soon. :D

Also, another reason why I haven't posted pics in my threads is because somehow or another my computer has changed up my display settings and I can't see thumbnails of my pics. So, it makes finding pics and posting them difficult. But, I think I have all of that figured out now. :D

OK the water bottle with top & bottom already cut off its 3 liter 101 oz.

See ribs on bottom, left side

Measures 5 1/2" dia.
Bag attached with rubber band on ribbed side

My volunteer, I was going to catch one of the clowns there to easy
this a 9 1/2" long fish type unknown but its rare.
trap fish against side of tank, chase to back of bag

When you lift catcher out of water bag will fall off from weight, but rubber band will close bag fish will not escape.

Yes but in your QT there are no rocks. If you need to catch them from your DT, I have found net get caught up on rocks. Also I remove rocks from 1/3 of one side use a an egg create cut to fit tank, heard the fish to that side, then use catcher.
