Will hermit crabs be eaten by a lion fish or angel?
Probably not. I've heard of lions that learned to get at hermits; just shows there are very few "always, for sure" answers when it comes to living critters.

Probably. (I'll never say absolutely yes when a trigger, even a blue jaw, is involved.) But I sure would do it.
In one of my tanks I have a fuzzy dwarf and a mombasa lion, although some people get this confused with a spotfin. Also have a bunch of hermit crabs, astrea snails and a brittle star and have had no problems at all.

Good. Lions hardly ever bother anything they can't swallow whole; though watching one suck a hermit from its shell was fun, that sure is the exception. BTW, didn't Columbus have a decent football team, way back in the days of Woody Hayes?

Might have heard of them before.

What kind of star are you looking to get?
