Would a dwarf fuzzy lion be okay in a 35 with 2 false percs, a purple firefish, and a cleaner crew minus the shrimp? The tank has a CPR bakpak 2r, and a 7 gallon sump.

Probably. Could be done. Get the Lion when he's small, as small as you can find. And chances are he probably wont bother any of the fish. They really are "gentle giants". I have a Fuzzy, and I just put in 3 Blue Damsels cuz I "needed" some more blue in the tank lol (I didnt want to deal with a Regal Tang and the whole Ich crap), and my Lion doesnt even pay attention to em. But thats not to say he could hungry and revert to the natual predatory instinct. But as it stands, from my experience, they wont go after fish unless they can truely and easily them in their mouth. I'm sure if we put in a little blue stripe cleaner that acted scared, he would hunt it down lol. But you should be ok
