Lion Fish Fast...

I have a volitan in My DT that I have had about a year who normally eats like a pig, but recently had decided to go on a fast. He has not eaten for about 4 or 5 days now. He also seems darker than before.
All tank Prams are fine, all other fish, corals are fine.
Any Ideas???

My lion use to do this every now and then. What are you feeding him? If it's frozen food, how long have you had it in your freezer?
Nitrates would always make my guys go off their feed. For some reason all my scorps do that.
What is your normal feeding schedule?
When my guy is darker it usually means he is not "happy" about something.

Usually alternate scallops & Shrimp. Frozen, I dunno. A month or two? He usually takes one every other day. I know he is really hungry when he grabs the chunk of food I drop in for the others.
Now he is just sulking, but still moving around.
Its a 600 gal system and I change about 100 gals every two weeks.
I'll recheck the nitrates, but I checked them a few days ago, and all was well.
