It all depends on the species. A fuzzy dwarf is fairly easy to keep, stays small, cheap, and will do fine in a 40 gallon tank. On the other end of the spectrum, a volitan lion is easy, however, can be expensive, gets 15" and needs at least a 125 gallon tank.

uhh ok well i guess that is out of my pic and nano lol jw i dont no ne thin about lions but tht thay look cool
