Ill probably get blasted for this, but, I have two bamboo sharks, two Cali rays and a Zebra moray with him. Remember Tank Police, the 980 is almost installed!
Gasguzzuler I want shrakes and rays but i cnat find they ones i want! But i really want is a Mantay Ray but there way to huge for a tank! How much do you spend on your tanks and fish and supplies?
My 980 gallon.
I think on the initial setup of the first 125 (in this pic) it was about $3,000. Supplies (food, salt, etc.) for that tank are probably $120 a month. Now if you want a shock, ask for a price for this one, plus the other four tanks that are running!!! Heres a full 125 shot.
WOW You r rich!!! I wish i had money like you! I could if i had a job.
But i Notice you have a Stingy ray and a Scorpion n there together do they get along?! Cuz i want a Shark and and sting rays but they say they are very agressive and not compatible!?
Actually, its a Lion. Everyone gets along beautifully. What you need to remember is that a lion is only aggressive towards anything that fits in thier mouth. The lion cruises the top, and the sharks and rays stay to the bottom. Sharks and rays usually get picked on by everything else, rather than the other way around. I had a 15" blond naso tang in there for a while, until he started nipping at the rays.
Lion fish thats what i meant! But! OK i just read and remeber what i see cuz i plan on getting a big tank soon! And i just read from what the experts read cuz i would relly be p o'ed if i bought a fish and the come to find out they do get along and they kill each other! so than i try that when i get them! and what is the most expensive fish you bought so far?
 Were do u get this money? DO u pay cash or loan or what!It must be nice to have a good job!! Have u encountered any problems at all while having a Saltwater Tank! Sorry if i am askin too many questions i just want to get some info b4 i get my own tank up n running and not know how to work it!
Yeah, if you ever want to take a vacation, forget it! Th eguy that I had watch mine one time didnt top off the tank for a week so the sump ran dry. This in turn led to a parasite outbreak on my rays. Lowering the tank temp to 70 deg. for a week solved the problem though. But it took me a month to figure it out.
U must of been !! Did the fish or n e thing die? Does your electric bill go up when you have all that on on a Saltwater tank?( Water pump, lights ect.) I cant wait to get my own! Cuz it just fun to watch them and it make your room look cool where ever you put it! All i am worried about is the price you a big tank! I want a Big Bow Front one! But i cant find no one with a cheap one! There is one at a fish store But it cost $600 But it comes with the tank/stand and conapy! Very nice tho! Do u know any cheap ones?
Look in the trading and classifieds section on this forum for someone around delaware, or a lil further if yer willing to drive. GREAT deals on setups, totally awesome deals. You can get a nice sized tank for half of what it would cost you to buy a tank and stand, PLUS you'll get lights, filters, etc. Good way to go. O, thanx for posting lion pics...
