Lion question

I would like to get a volitan lionfish but want to make sure my tank and other fish will be ok. I currently have a 75 gal FO with DSB tank and right now the only inhabitants are 2 false percs and a heniochus. Will the percs become a midnite snack?? Also what is the min tank size lion's require?? Thanx

volitans get very big and grow fast. i had 1ft and 2 in one it looked too big for my 160

The percs would be history, might not even take till midnight
The 75 would be O.K. to start (your planning on a bigger tank soon anyway, aren"t you?) If not check out the fuzzy dwarf he'd be happy in a 75. (He'd like your percs too!)

I had a volitain in a 50 gal with a small perc. The percola was there before the volitain. the volitain grew to about 7-8 inches before i donated him to a local childrens hospital. He never looked twice at my perc. Might be safe if you keep him well fed. But if he gets hungry he will swallow anything that can fit in his mouth.
