this is Lars.. he really was as red as he looks in this pic..... i haven't found another like him since. Is he a volitans, a russelli, or a lunulata? how do i tell the difference?

HEs a volitan. Beautiful fish, my lord! I wish my volitan would stop turning black and become red. He gets darker every week, which is allright i suppose.... Any more pics peoples?

i miss him i got him at my favorite fish store in madison, wi. i paid $39 for him and he was over 6" long.... he died in july at almost 9". how can you tell the difference? and what is a "peacock" lion?

I think a peacock lion is basically a russels lion. If not, then it is a "lunulata" or watever u said.
