lion w/ lockjaw?

my lion's mouth won't close all the way. when feeding he can't attack the food the way he used to. i think it's hard for him to eat. has anyone had this problem with a lion before? any ideas?

what have you been feeding this lion? how much how often?
Do you have large chunked substrate in the tank?
I have seen this a number of times, but it can occur from a few reasons.
More info will help

yoyo jay wassup !!!!!! glad to see u posted that up, i also would like to know the answer to that. by the way nice name .. marini also what would be a safe ammonia level for a newly started tank? mine is at 4ppm ,been up and running for 2 weeks . 1 eel and 1 lion in 25 gal tank...and the lion fins are lookin bad.....ok back 2 james im sure he feeds them frozen shrimps 2-3 shrimps every second day. i dont think he has any large chunked substrate, mostly arganite,and crushed shells,correct me if im wrong jay.. he also had 3 other lions and they dont have this problem. i have one of his now. laterz...
