lionfish marine ich?

Is this marine ich on my lionfish? I saw them a few weeks ago and the white spots were very symetrical so I thought maybe I just never noticed them before and it was a part of the fish. Ive only had him for about a month, came with my tank. But I was looking today and Im pretty sure theres alot more than there was before. Don't see any on the gills and I dont see any slime, just white spots that are not raised up off of the fish that i can see, they look to be jsut spots and part of the fish even when I look really close. He also has a couple on both sides down his lateral line and 1 large one on both sides where his main fins attach to his body.
Hes about 3 years old and 9" long.
I just want to be sure this isnt normal somehow before I go and QT him. I read that older lions get the white spots on thier lateral lines but these are on his main fins and quite plentiful on the lower fins below and to the rear of the main fins.

bump,
anyone have a lion get marine ich before?
I looked up some pictures of it on other species and it looks more like a bubble coming of of the fish. mine looks like actual coloration of the fish. How can I tell if its normal or not? Other than i should have paid more attention to him when I first got it to see if there were any defining marks

ohh thank god! I could have sworn the white spots on the lower fin were more than i had noticed before, but I was starting to become crazy cautious because after getting the tank back to normal after a mini cycle Im finally getting the perameters back to good and ready to put some additions in the tank.
whew, i love you guys!

ich will look like salt or sand stuck to the fish. there's a handy thread in the diseased fish forum that's loaded with pictures of different ailments, check it out.

ohh yeah, thats not anything like mine. Whew, well except for the big white spot on his main fin near his body
