Lionfish not eating

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out with my lionfish starving himself back in April. He went almost 2 wks wo eating and barley ever swimmed around. Sometimes he would lay at the bottom of the tank on his side barley breathing. I never would have thought it was because of the FW fish. All of the fish stores in Houston say to feed a lion goldfish or rosies. I never knew any different. After soaking food in garlic and supplementing with ghost shrimp I am proud to say he is doing wonderful. He loves his Sally silverides and it took 2 days with a skewer moving it around the tank for him to try eating it. Now he welcomes me at he tank each time. He is getting bigger and looks so healthy. (I bought the lion for my husband so I am glad I didn't kill it). Thanks everyone for the responses it saved his life.
