can i put a 3.5 in foxface a 4 in fat lawnmoer and a 3 in yellow tang

not an easy answer to that one. how about tanks size and all that kind of stuff. and what type of lion you are looking at. I dont know of anyone will tell you yep without knowing these things.

the smallest volitan i can find and by the time it is big my other fish will be bigger

what about tank size, volitans grow really large about 15 inches in length. the tang and fax will be alright long term but the lawnmower may not be so lucky in any size tank.

50 gal what about a fu man chu or a fuzzy dwarf or blackfoot or radiata

if I was going to put a a lion in a 50 gallon it would be one of the dwarfs or the fu man chu lion all of them stay pretty smal with the fu man chu about 4 inches and the dwarfs about 7 inches.

A dwarf will be fine in your 50. You will need an upgrade for the Fox and tang though.
